I’m Jonathan James. No middle name. In California they call me JJ. Made in Chicago, 4th generation from a place called Hyde Park on the South Side.
I’ve been a cook in Denmark. An organic farmer in Anna, Illinois. And a wedding photographer in Northern California. I’ve been a crew member on hundreds of commercials, TV shows and movies.
I love writing headlines. If any copywriters out there wanna have a friendly 100 line battle, pick a brand and hit me up. 🤓
My mentor at Goodby Silverstein, Jon Wolanske, had me make a list of things that I love. The list is meant as a creative reserve if you will. A well to always go back to for inspiration. I put it here so you can get to know the real me, and because resumes are kinda lame.
